Translucent Shimmer Hybrids.
Translucent Shimmer Hybrids are made with stabilized maple burl and Alumilite resin. Each blank features shimmer (form of glitter). The shimmer is about 2%-5%, letting you see plenty of the burl figure. Comes in various colors. See the drop down menu for color choices.
We highly recommend Negative Rake cutters when turning these blanks.
All Blocks are roughly 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ x 2.5″ The blanks pictured are only a representation of what to expect and is not the actual blank that will be delivered. Maple burl can range from light to dark as well as birds eye burl to smooth.
