ER32 Collet
The ER32 collet is a high precision collet that we even use here in our shop. These are to work with the ER32 Collet Chucks to hold items such as your kitless pen mandrels, ring mandrels, etc.
Each ER32 collet has a range of +0/- .039 inches(1mm). ER32 Collets .094″ and smaller have a range of only +0/-.015 inches. The size indicated on the collet is the largest size it can hold and can be collapsed smaller within its collapse range. For example, an ER32 3/8″ collet can grab a round shank from .375″ diameter to .336″ diameter. Run out from these collets is less than .0006″.
